Call For Papers

We invite abstract submissions from postgraduates and independent researchers for presentations, taking the form of a 20 minute paper or an A0 research poster, pertaining to the broad theme, ‘Nationality, Authority and Individuality in Ancient Egypt’. Submissions should cover one or more of the aspects encompassed in this theme.

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words in length and should be submitted, with name and affiliation, to
symposium@birminghamegyptology.co.uk, the deadline being Friday 17th October 2014 at 5pm. They will be reviewed by the organising committee and confirmation of the decision therewith will be emailed by Friday 31st October 2014.

Following the Symposium, presenters will be invited to submit their papers or posters as articles to be considered for publication in Birmingham Egyptology Journal.
