fig. 4 Nefertiti in the Ashmolean Museum, University of OxfordThe Ashmolean Museum summer exhibition, running until 2nd November 2014, is entitled Discovering Tutankhamun and presents the story of one of the ‘most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century’. The exhibition gives details of the discovery of the tomb and displays some of Howard Carter’s original records, drawings and photographs.
