The talk, to be given by Birmingham alumnus Dr Claus Jurman, on ‘Giza as a sacred landscape in the Libyan Period’, has been confirmed for 4pm on Thursday 16th January. It shall be held in the Peter Gelling Library (Arts Building 315). We are very grateful to Dr Tony Leahy for organising the talk, and to Dr Jurman for agreeing to tie it in so nicely with our Symposium on ‘Ritual Landscapes in Ancient Egypt’. The programme for the Symposium is varied in context and chronological focus (see the Symposium page at www.birminghamegyptology.co.uk/symposium for the downloadable programme and other information), and this talk should add another dimension!
