The first Birmingham Egyptology Post Graduate Workshop will take place on Friday 18th October between 1 – 4pm. The venue for this event will be the Strathcona Building, Lecture Theatre 1 (adjacent to Muirhead Tower, R18 on the University map).
The workshop will offer some training in transferable skills therefore, while primarily aimed at post graduate students in Egyptology, and more specifically designed for those engaged in various BE projects, those specializing in other disciplines are welcome to attend. The programme now includes input relating to conference chairing skills; object handling; photography for publication; and peer-reviewing and editing, as outlined in the PDF file available here:
