Lance Lichauco

Lance is an MEng Nuclear Engineering student who spent a year abroad in Japan. He has a deep interest in nuclear power and believes it is an important factor in the future of energy production, working towards finding and understanding materials that can withstand the extreme environments.

His project is investigating and understanding the deformation mechanisms of cryogenic materials. This will involve the use of in-situ diffraction techniques and facilities as well as SEM, EBSD and mechanical tests.
