The conference will be held at our Edgbaston campus, a short walk from either the University train station or bus stops on the Bristol Road. The campus map is available to download and you can also download the UoB Student App, which features campus maps and other useful information.
Mobility information is available for the University of Birmingham campus (including a mobility map) and the City of Birmingham. If you have any accessibility needs which we might be able to help with, do get in touch.
Travelling to Birmingham
The closest airport to Birmingham is Birmingham Airport, a 30 minute drive to the Edgbaston Park Hotel.
You can also fly into London (Heathrow, Luton, or Stanstead) or Manchester Airport and drive or take public transport to Birmingham.
TBC
The University is easily accessible by public transport. From New Street Station the University station is either one or two stops, and up to six trains an hour depart for the University on the cross-city line. By bus, numbers 61, 63 and X64 run from the city centre and stop on the Bristol Road, on the south side of campus.
If you decide to stay at the Edgbaston Park Hotel, your stay will be complimented by free on-site parking.
Alternately, the University has ample parking in the North East Car Park for £10 per day.
Many train stations across Birmingham will have a free-to-use car park if you would rather get the train to the University.
All of our car parks have accessibility spaces, but get in touch if you have any queries about this.
