2022 Dialogue Day (Album & Social Media)
Aimed at doctoral researchers working across all areas and sub-disciplines of Medieval Studies, the 2022 event explored the medieval manuscripts, archaeology, and building history of Lichfield Cathedral, while also inviting wider questions about the accessible and responsible interpretation and public communication of medieval heritage.
The day presented a unique opportunity for deep engagement with medieval artefacts and material culture, led by experts at Lichfield Cathedral and supervisors from across the M4C consortium. It also offered opportunities for professional development, including a Q&A on work within the heritage sector from the perspective of both conservationists and academics, plus a wider discussion about the ways of making interdisciplinarity work in Medieval Studies.
Amazing afternoon session on #liturgy (led by Monica White and Liv Robinson) as part of the @Midlands4Cities event on #medievalmaterialities @LichfieldCath today. Huge thanks to @DrVictoriaFlood for all she did to put this fantastic day together.
