About the project

• create awareness in secondary schools of the racialised, gendered and sexualised daily interactions which blights the school experiences of Black Caribbean girls in secondary schools
• support teachers and school leaders to develop anti-racist strategies
• empower teachers and build their confidence to develop leadership skills of Black Caribbean girls through teaching resources and lesson planning
• close the attainment gaps between Black Caribbean girls and their female counterparts

Primarily to bring the educational needs of Black Caribbean girls to the forefront of the agenda for educators and policymakers in England.
