Several Special Sessions on different current topics will be organised to give an update and present the most recent achievements on selected areas. If you are a senior researcher with a team who would like to chair a session please send an email with your proposed title to Dr Raya Al-Dadah at r.k.al-dadah@bham.ac.uk.
A session will include the following items:
- The Chair/Co-Chair will gather 4-5 contributions for the Session.
- The Chair/Co-Chair will open the Special Session with a 20-25 min invited talk followed by a 5-10 min Q&A.
- Each contributor will give a 15 min talk on their specialist topic.

Include the Special Session title in your extended abstract just above the paper title and submit it through the standard submission system.
Also, please notify the chair of the Special Session and the conference chairs when submitting an abstract for the Special Session.
