Our aim is to determine the molecular basis of platelet activation by key\u00a0 platelet glycoprotein receptors in haemostasis, thrombosis and vascular integrity, and to establish new ways to regulate these processes to prevent thrombotic disease.<\/i><\/p>\n
Our approach is to integrate knowledge from analytical complex \u2018omics\u2019, advanced microscopy, cell biology, microfluidics,\u00a0in vivo<\/i> models, contemporary systems biology and high throughput screens to identify new targets for therapeutic intervention and novel lead compounds or biologics.<\/p>\n
